The Android market developed by Google for Android devices is an online software store that allows users to browse and download applications from third party developers. Announced on August 28, 2008, the Android market becomes available to its users on October 22, 2008. Users and developers in the United States and United Kingdom were able to purchase priced applications support on the middle of February 2009. The Android market is only available to limited countries including Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and Japan. Google announced that for the upcoming months, there would be additional countries added up to the list of the Android Market.
